The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for KING ISLAND MARINA as of September28, 2020. <br /> Open violations from December 20, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation#605 -Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. In the hazardous <br /> waste storage area: <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily absorbent had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br /> hazardous property and the accumulation start date. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily absorbent was missing a hazardous waste label <br /> -One red 5 gallon trash can containing one uncrushed/unpunctured metal oil filter had a hazardous waste label that <br /> was missing the accumulation start date. <br /> -One black 55 gallon and one white 10 gallon trash bag were missing hazardous waste labels. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), and accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
