CEHS-0036 <br /> Title: Waste Management Program Page 15 of 20 <br /> Warehouse and Trailer Shop Facilities <br /> Approved by:Senior Vice President Compliance&Administration Issue No.4 <br /> Date:Aug.2014 <br /> 8.6.4.3. Marking—At a minimum,each RCRA regulated Hazardous <br /> waste container of 110 gallons or less must be marked in <br /> accordance with 49 CFR 172.304,with the following words: <br /> 8.6.4.3.1 HAZARDOUS WASTE- Federal Law Prohibits <br /> Improper Disposal. If found,contact the nearest <br /> public safety authority or the Environmental <br /> Protection Agency; <br /> 8.6.4.3.2 Generator name and address; <br /> 8.6.4.3.3 Labeled with words that identify the contents of each <br /> container;and <br /> 8.6.4.3.4 Manifest Document Number. <br /> 8.6.4.4. Placarding—Each vehicle used to transport hazardous materials <br /> will be placarded by the transporter with the proper DOT <br /> placards. <br /> 8.7. Off-Site Shipment Procedures <br /> 8.7.1. C&S procedure requires that an off-site waste shipment for RCRA- <br /> regulated and State-regulated waste containers be schedule to occur within <br /> every 90 day period. <br /> 8.7.2. Containers of RCRA regulated Hazardous Waste, State regulated Waste,and <br /> Universal Waste,for which the requirements detailed in Sections 8.1 through <br /> 8.6 above have not been met,will not be offered for transportation off-site <br /> until such time as the regulatory requirements can be met. <br /> 8.7.3. Security will notify the appropriate department which has scheduled a waste <br /> shipment of the arrival of the waste transporter. <br /> 8.7.3.1. If the facility does not have a secured gate,the waste transporter <br /> will contact the requesting entity upon their arrival. <br /> 8.7.4. A C&S associate will be present with the waste transporter during the entire <br /> loading process. <br /> 8.7.5. Shipping document requirements include: <br /> 8.7.5.1. Documents are complete and legible; <br /> 8.7.5.2. Signatures are legible on each copy; <br /> 8.7.5.3. Date of waste acceptance by the transporter is entered on the <br /> manifest;and, EIC IV <br /> SEP 0 3 2015 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br />
