SENT BY:USDA-SCS DPJIS.CA 05-26-93 12:3DPM 9167578.3F32-) 82094640138 # 2 <br /> STATFMEATT OF WORK <br /> The project is located at the USDA, Soil Conservation Service (SCS) <br /> property Ionated at 21001 N. Elliott Road, Lockeford, San Joaquin <br /> County, California. <br /> In 1991 two underground fuel tanks, pumps, and appurtenances were <br /> removed and properly disposed of. One tank, 500 gallon capacity <br /> contained diesel fuel, and the other tank, 1000 gallon capacity <br /> contained gasoline. As part of that contract, soil samples were <br /> taken belov the tanks which indicated the soil was contaminated. <br /> A dopy of the test results for soil samples taken below the tanks <br /> is included as an attachment to this solicitation. A test was not <br /> performed below the pump dispenear/piping. <br /> The site contains a concrete island with light pole and air and <br /> water hoses. The Government desires to preserve the island with <br /> existing equipment from being destroyed by required testing, if <br /> possible. <br /> To obtain access to the site or to obtain further information about <br /> the site, contact the SCS representative, Dave Dyer, Punt Materials <br /> Center Manager, (209) 727-5319. <br /> The Offeror shall provide the necessary equipment, peraonnel, and <br /> materials to drill bore holes, perform laboratory ana.lysie and <br /> associated tasks to determine the nature and extent of soil <br /> contamination of the site resulting from the fuel leak in accordance <br /> with the Tri-Regional Board guidelines, the LUFT Field Manual, and San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division( ,/)1b) <br /> requirements. <br /> The eucceesful Offeror shall obtain and complete all Local, State, <br /> and Federal permits, manifests, and forms required by this contract. <br /> All soil samples and tests taken shall be in accordance with the=(- <br /> jkC& I ' -7 shall be performed by <br /> a DHS certified firm. <br /> The Offeror shall provide any reports and documentations required <br /> by the �sec�iotipnal --agra�reis, a work plan/specifications, with <br /> estimated quantities/costs, and performance time, for remedial action <br /> work required for removal, treatment, and/or proper disposal of any <br /> hazardous waste contaminated ground material. The work plan/ <br /> specifications should detail the nature and extent of work needed and <br /> the most economical method of clean-up which will meet the PR5 <br /> requirements. `T_�z wnk. <br /> �c.:5 <br /> The successful Offero ill be re uired tpay the prevailing wage <br /> rates for the various classifications of workers performing work on <br /> this project. The Offeror shall include with his or her offer a <br /> listing of the anticipated classifications of workers with current <br /> hourly wage rates plus hourly fringe benefit rate (shown separately) . <br /> Seasonal high ground water has been determined to be greaten than 50 <br /> feet. <br /> The successful Offeror will be paid upon proof of acceptance by the <br /> Pp s agani of all required reports and documentatione. tq- <br />
