Box 2009•(1601 East Hazelton Avenue)•Stockcor, pti1 <br /> (209)468-3400 �C* ! <br /> RAYMOND MILLER <br /> USDA SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE <br /> 2121-C 2ND ST - STE 102 0C T 1993 <br /> DAVIS CA 95616-5476 <br /> RE: USDA SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE <br /> 21001 N ELLIOTT RD; LOCKEFORD SITE CODE: 2089 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS- <br /> EHD) has completed review of the "Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation <br /> Report" prepared by Geological Audit Services, Inc. and dated September, 1993. <br /> The underground fuel storage tank (UST) pipeline located beneath the dispenser <br /> island must undergo closure pursuant to Section 2672(c) (2), Article 7, Chapter <br /> 16 of the California Code of Regulations (a copy is enclosed). Please provide <br /> PHS/EHD with written notification when this pipeline closure has been completed. <br /> PHS/EHD staff evaluated the soil boring data utilizing the LUFT's Environmental <br /> Fate risk assessment. This letter confirms the completion of site investigation <br /> and remedial action at the above site. With the provision that the information <br /> provided to this agency was accurate and representative of existing conditions, <br /> it is our position that no further action is required at this time. <br /> Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any liability under <br /> the California Health and Safety-Code or Water Code for past, present, or future <br /> operations at the site. Nor does, it relieve you of the responsibility to clean <br /> up existing, additional or previously unidentified conditions at the site which <br /> cause or threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose a threat to <br /> water quality or public health. <br /> Additionally, be advised that changes in the present or proposed use of the site <br /> may require further site characterization and mitigation activity.
