Maintenance <br /> The valve assembly should be inspected after puncturing 1,000 cans. Remove the unit from the <br /> collection drum and inspect for seal quality. Clean area thoroughly inside and out. Apply (3) <br /> wraps of Teflon tape to 2" threads that attach to the collection drum prior to re-installation. <br /> At 750 cans replaced activated carbon cartridge <br /> At 1500 cans replace activated carbon cartridge <br /> At 2250 cans replace entire combination filter. Remove Poly sleeve and gasket for cleaning and <br /> replace as necessary. <br /> At 3000 cans replace activated carbon cartridge <br /> At 3750 cans replace activated carbon cartridge <br /> At 4000 cans the 55 gal. drum should be ready for handling. Reset the Counter. Mount unit <br /> onto new drum. Depending of wear replace puncture pin, gasket, and spring. Lubricate pin <br /> with lithium grease. <br /> Segregation <br /> Incompatible wastes must always remain separated. Separate bins to collect residual wastes <br /> must be used for paints, insecticides, and cable cleaner. <br /> Always make sure flammable wasted are stored away from heat and open flames. <br /> Always make sure proper ventilation is used while using this equipment. <br />
