A N J O A Q U IN Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> SUPERLUBE PLUS INC 1 1170 LINCOLN BLVD, TRACY October 01, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following were observed in the used oil filter accumulation area: <br /> -Two 55-gallon containers with used metal oil filters observed with used oil and oily residue accumulating on lids. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean oily residue and accumulating used oil. Manage the waste according to <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to <br /> the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the <br /> cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66265.173 Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed in the used oil filter <br /> accumulation area: <br /> -Two 55-gallon containers with used metal oil filters lacking secure lids, no rings. <br /> -One 55-gallon container with oily solids lacking a lid. <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used metal oil filters lacking a lid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste.
