Michael Carroll, PE
Senior Civil Engineer '`
SUBJECT: FIRST QUARTER 2004 PERIMETER MONITORING
CORRAL HOLLOW SANITARY LANDFILL
We are pleased to report that migration monitoring at the Corral Hollow Landfill for the
First Quarter of 2004 finds all probes in full compliance with Title 27, Section 20921(a)(2)
for combustible gas (data attached).
This is the third quarter in which all perimeter probes were found in compliance. With migration
apparently under full control, we have directed SCS Engineers to incrementally reduce LFG
collection at those wells that are presently being overpulled; this adjustment being made in
compliance with Title 27, Section 20937(c)(1). Monitoring will continue quarterly as required,
and, if we find migration or evidence that migration is eminent, we will increase collection as
needed to maintain compliance.
If you have any questions, please call me at extension 8-3066.
WMC:kf
n:\Icotrall hollow\gas monitoring\2004data_memos&reports\I stgtr2004rptcoverletter.doe
Enclosure
c: Gino Yekta
California Integrated Waste Management Board
CAL-EPA Building
1001 I Street
Sacramento, California 95812-4025
LA 21847F
