We are pleased to report that all probes are in
full compliance with Title 27, Section 20921(a)(2) for combustible gas (data attached). In fact,
no combustible gas was detected in any probe. Monitoring will continue quarterly.
Today I received a Closed Facility Inspection Report indicating that several probes may be
plugged. Although we can not explain how this could happen, we will ask SCS to suggest how
these probes might be unplugged, and that they take whatever measures may be appropriate to
restore these probes to full working order.
If you have any questions, please call me at extension 8-3066.
WMC:mr
nAlcorrall hollow\gas monitoring\2004data memos&reports\3rdgtr2004rptcoverletter.doc
Enclosure
c: Gino Yekta
California Integrated Waste Management Board
CAL-EPA Building
10011 Street
Sacramento, California 95812-4025
LA 21847F
