County workplan proposes MW-6 deep well adjacent to MW-5 on <br /> northeast comer of site to monitor deep water bearing zone. <br /> MW-4=increasing trends for nitrate and electrical conductivity. <br /> MW-5 =increasing trends for TDS, chloride,PCE and vinyl chloride. Gas control corrective action system should <br /> control gas migration. This is a common occurrence for VOCs to migrate to groundwater when landfills are capped. <br /> The Annual Report should address this phenomenon with an evaluation of the corrective action measures since <br /> closure. Annual Report should include actions the County proposes to take to mitigate VOCs and increases in other <br /> monitoring parameters in groundwater. <br /> The County should use the more rigorous EPA Method 7199(ion chromatography) for hexavalent chromium instead <br /> of EPA Method 7196(colorimetric).
