Obtain a Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br />number is 916-255-2501. <br /> <br />2. Entrance doors to food preparation area and service openings shall be self -closing. <br />(CRFC Section 114303) <br /> <br />3. Light bulbs and tubes shall be covered and completely enclosed in plastic saf ety shields <br />or the equivalent. (CRFC Section 114323) <br /> <br />4. Mechanical exhaust ventilation equipment shall be provided over all cooking equipment <br />as required to effectively remove cooking odors, smoke, steam, grease, heat, and <br />vapors. All mechanical exhaust ventilation equipment shall be installed and maintained <br />in accordance with the California Mechanical Code. Makeup air shall be provided the <br />rate of that exhausted [CRFC §114149.1] <br /> <br />5. Wastewater tanks shall have a minimum capacity that is 50 percent greater than the <br />potable water tanks. In no case shall the wastewater capacity be less than 7.5 gallons. <br />Where potable water for the preparation of a food or beverage is supplied, an additional <br />wastewater tank capacity equal to at least 15 percent of the water supply shall be <br />provided. It is not specified if the fresh water tank is 40 gallons while the waste water <br />tank is a combination of 52 gallons and 20 gallons. Please specify. (CRFC Section <br />114240). <br />
