Gallo APPLICANT: Reeves Sand and Gravel, Inc. <br /> P.O. Box 1130 P.O. Box 60 <br /> Modesto, CA 95353 French Camp, CA 95231 <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Quarry Excavation application to remove 176,500 cubic yards of sand in two (2) phases <br /> within four(4) years to include excavation and reclamation for farming purposes. The project excavation and reclamation <br /> will occur on 9.1-acres of a 313.79-acre parcel.The removal of the sand streak within this area is to increase the agricultural <br /> viability of the parcel for final reclamation to orchards. Excavation will not exceed a maximum depth of twelve (12) feet. <br /> The excavated area will be consistent with the existing field elevations surrounding the project site once reclaimed. The <br /> parcel has direct access from West McDonald Road and is under a Williamson Act contract. (This application was <br /> previously referred out as a pre-application and is now a full-application with revised phasing and a revised reclamation <br /> plan). <br /> The Property is zoned AG-80 (General Agriculture, 80-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General <br /> Agriculture). <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the south side of the intersection of West McDonald Road and West Davini <br /> Road, east of Stockton.. (APN/Address: 131-060-01/10450 West McDonald Road, Stockton) (Supervisorial District: 3) <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This is a Notice of Intent to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project <br /> as described. San Joaquin County has determined that through the Initial Study that contains proposed mitigation measures <br /> all potentially significant effects on the environment can be reduced to a less than significant level. The Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration and Initial Study can be viewed on the Community Development Department website at www.sjgov.org/commdev <br /> under Active Planning Applications. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community <br /> Development Department no later than November 4, 2020. Recommendations and/or comments received after that date <br /> may not be considered in staffs analysis and/or recommendation to the San Joaquin County Planning Commission for this <br /> application. <br /> NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: This project will be scheduled for a San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Commission hearing.
