The project excavation and reclamation <br /> will occur on 9.1-acres of a 313.79-acre parcel.The removal of the sand streak within this area is to increase the agricultural <br /> viability of the parcel for final reclamation to orchards. Excavation will not exceed a maximum depth of twelve (12) feet. <br /> The excavated area will be consistent with the existing field elevations surrounding the project site once reclaimed. The <br /> parcel has direct access from West McDonald Road and is under a Williamson Act contract. (This application was <br /> previously referred out as a pre-application and is now a full-application with revised phasing and a revised reclamation <br /> plan). <br /> The Property is zoned AG-80 (General Agriculture, 80-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General <br /> Agriculture). <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the south side of the intersection of West McDonald Road and West Davini <br /> Road, east of Stockton.. (APN/Address: 131-060-01/10450 West McDonald Road, Stockton) (Supervisorial District: 3) <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This is a Notice of Intent to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project <br /> as described. San Joaquin County has determined that through the Initial Study that contains proposed mitigation measures <br /> all potentially significant effects on the environment can be reduced to a less than significant level. The Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration and Initial Study can be viewed on the Community Development Department website at www.sjgov.org/commdev <br /> under Active Planning Applications. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community <br /> Development Department no later than November 4, 2020.
