Floors,walls and guardrails are means of fall prevention. <br /> Fall Protection: What is done to effectively address fall hazards. <br /> Guardrail: A vertical barrier erected along exposed edges of a floor opening,wall opening, <br /> ramp,platform or runway to prevent the fall of persons. <br /> Handrail: A narrow rail for grasping with the hand for support. Also a bar or pipe <br /> supported on brackets from a wall or partition, as on a stairway or ramp, to <br /> fumish persons with a handliold in case of tripping. <br /> Hole: A gap or void 2 inches or more in its least dimension, in a floor, roof or other <br /> walking/working surface. <br /> Ladder Climbing <br /> {Safety)Device: A device or climbing sleeve connected to the front D-ring on the climber's full 3 <br /> body haniess that slides up and down a rigid rail or cable.
