The complainant then stated to prepare a new meal but when the owner
asked for the previous product, the items were stated to have been thrown away. The owner was unable to review the product
and for this reason they did not issue a refund or remade the meal. I then asked how the food was prepared and the owner
stated that all items are frozen and are made on order. The shrimps are frozen then thawed in the walk in cooler before being
taken to the cooking station in which they are prepared and then placed in a to-go container which is then handed to the
consumer. The mussels are kept froze, then prepared by cleaning the surfaces and then thawed during thecooking process.
All items are prepackaged before hand and the owner stated that they can not be aware of the items located inside of the
mussels before they are cooked or after. The owner continued to state that the complainant could of taken the'lemon"
seasoning in which they inform all their consumers to eat immediately, due to the acidity changing the nature of the seafood if
it stays in it too long.
Observed no violations in regards to the complaint at this time.
Official inspection report emailed.
FA0017986 C00052651 SCO04 10/05/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.9/16/2020 Page 1 of 2 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
