Observed that the meat is stored in an open retail display case,
prepackaged by the staff, and the temperature of the cooler is 41 F. The meat department manager then stated that turkey
neck is not an item that is sold daily and when it is sold, it is raw with no seasoning. They continued to state that the turkey,
when it arrives, is parted out and only kept in the display cooler for no longer then 7 days. After it is discarded until a new
shipment arrives, which would be after some time. While on site, the turkey neck was not observed due to the facility not
containing any and other turkey items were observed in prepackaged containers awaiting consumption.
Observed no violations while on site.
Official inspection report emailed.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title:
EH Specialist: VICTOR ACEVEDO Phone: (209)616-3023
FA0001992 C00052731 SCO04 10/07/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.9/16/2020 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
