On September 29, 2020, water remained in boring 131 (3.5 feet bgs) and boring B2 (13
feet bgs)was found to be dry and intact. A water level reading could not be measured from boring
B3 (25 feet bgs)due to a muddy layer at the bottom of the boring. Approximately 0.5 feet of water
was added over gravel to boring 131 and the boring was monitored over a 4 hour period until a
final 30 minute reading could be witnessed by the EHD. Approximately two feet of water was
inadvertently added to boring B2 and the drop in water level was recorded every 30 minutes over
a four hour period. Approximately 2.5 feet of water was added to boring B3 to bring the water
level above the muddy bottom, and the drop in water level was recorded every 30 minutes over
a four hour period. The tests were observed by EHD representative Ms. Daria Afonskaia who
signed the percolation test form.
The following table is a summary of the percolation test rates:
Table 2
Summary of Percolation Test
Test No. Percolation Test Percolation Rate Test Duration Comments
Date Tested Depth (feet) (min/in) (hours)
131 3.5 0 30 Unsatisfactory
10-29-20 Percolation Rate
Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 3
