She stated that customer wants them to use fly strips. Manager
stated that there is not a whole lot they can do to keep flies away. They currently sanitize tables every time customes are done
with their meal.
Observations: The moment I parked I noticed that there was a lot of trash on the parking lot and several vehicles that are not
Denny's customers (there were over 15 vehicles and only a couple of customers eating outdoors). Manager stated that all of
the extra vehicles belong to the Motel 6 (next door). This motel is currently housing homeless people due to COVID-19.
Denny's owner is trying to come with an agreement with the motel's owner regarding the parking situation. Did notice several
flies on tables and bins with dirty utensils. Garbage dumpster had it's lid on but there is a layer of sludge on the bottom of it.
Also noticed that a small amount of garbage was not bagged. Manager stated that homeless people are goingthrough the
garbage.
Corrections: Have garbage service company replace dirty dumpster with a clean one. Make request on a routine basis.
Remove parking lot garbage daily. Once customers are done with their meals, remove dirty plates and waste into the interior
of facility. Make sure that tables are completely free of any food debris or particles. Wipe several times with a soapy solution
to remove any stuck on food and then wipe with sanitizer. If possible lock dumpster with padlock to prevent people from going
through the garbage.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code. If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title: Romina Bulgarin, manager
EH Specialist: MARIBEL FLOHRSCHUTZ Phone: (209) 468-3420
FA0002035 C00052548 SCO04 09/02/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.8/11/2020 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
