Install per the following. <br /> At least one curbed cleaning facility or janitor sink equipped with a drain shall be provided and conveniently located for the <br /> cleaning of mops or similar wet floor cleaning tools and for the disposal of mop water and similar liquid waste[CRFC <br /> §114192 and§114279]. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All liquid waste must drain to an approved fully functioning sewage disposal system. (114197) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Two cockroaches observed in the facility. Implement pest control to abate problem by today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #43 Toilet Facilites Clean/Supplied/Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The restroom door is not selfclosing. Install a selfclosing mechanism on the door. Correct within a week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Toilet facilities shall be maintained clean, sanitary and in good repair. Toilet rooms shall be separated by a <br /> well-fitting self-closing door. Toilet tissue shall be provided in a permanently installed dispenser at each toilet. The number of toilet <br /> facilities shall be in accordance with local building and plumbing ordinances. Toilet facilities shall be provided for patrons:in <br /> establishments with more than 20,000 sq ft. establishments offering on-site liquor consumption. (114250, 114250.1, 114276) <br /> #45 Floors,Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Floor finishes are not up to code. Install per the following. <br /> The floor surfaces in all food preparation or packaging areas,open food storage areas, utensil washing areas, refuse <br /> storage areas, janitorial areas, and all restroom and employee change areas, shall be smooth and of durable construction <br /> and nonabsorbent material which is easily cleaned. These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall <br /> with a three-eighths(3/8)inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least four(4)inches. Rubber or vinyl <br /> top set base is not permitted in these areas[CRFC§114268]. <br /> Install ceiling and wall per the following. <br /> Walls and ceilings of all rooms(except for bar areas, areas where food is stored in unopened containers, dining areas, and <br /> offices)shall be of a durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, and washable surface[CRFC§114271]. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. (114143(d), <br /> 114266, 114268, 114268.1, 114271, 114272) <br /> #48 Compliance with Plan Review Requirements <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Facility operating without being approved. Improvement plans were not submitted to this department. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:A person proposing to build or remodel a food facility shall submit plans for approval before starting any new <br /> construction or remodeling of any facility for use as a retail food facility.
