Box 2009 Stockton, CA 95201 Dear Mr. Chan: Pursuant to receiving Notice to Comply, please find the bill of sale as proof of non-ownership of the 1984 W.H.O. Tub Grinder. However, we request to maintain our current Wood Waste Grinding and Load-out System, PERMIT TO OPERATE (NO. 84-138). We do not wish to delete the permit, due to the fact that we have continued to process and recycle waste wood and yard and garden waste. We currently pre-grind the wood material with a caterpillar tractor, load and ship to various cogeneration facilities. The California Integrated Waste Management Board recently issued us a PERMIT as a Transfer Station and Composting Facility, authorizing the acceptance of up to 2000 tons of material per day. It is projected that yard and garden, wood and other organic materials for composting are a major portion of the 2000 tons. We are currently researching grinders and other equipment that will accommodate our wood waste and composting/recycling programs, as well as meet the needs of our planned expanded facility. When we decide on the type of grinder and grinding operation to implement and purchase, we had planned to request a modification of the Wood Waste Grinding and Load-out System PERMIT that would be relevant to the upgraded grinding operation.
