The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste diesel was observed inside the shop without contents and physical state <br /> on the label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste paint was observed inside the shop without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids was observed inside the shop without an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste gasoline was observed outside the east side of the shop without physical <br /> state on the label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste paint was observed outside the north side of the shop with an incorrect <br /> accumulation start date and without hazardous properties. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by completely labeling hazardous waste <br /> containers. Accumulation start dates were determined by last waste pick up date. No further action is required to <br /> correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 12, 2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
