Destroy the abandoned 12-inch steel casing well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department as required by San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.5(e). <br /> 5. Applicant shall contact Robert McClellon, Program Coordinator, Small Public Water System <br /> Program, at (209) 468-0332, to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public <br /> water system prior to issuance of building permits. If a public water system is required, <br /> applicant shall submit a Small Public Water System preliminary technical report to the <br /> California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water (Water Board) <br /> at least six months before initiating construction of any water related improvement, as <br /> defined. The issuance of a permit to operate a small public water system by the local primacy <br /> agency (EHD) is prohibited without the concurrence of the Water Board. Please contact <br /> Brian Kidwell, P.E. with the SWRCB Division of Drinking Water at (209): 948-3963 <br /> concerning the requirements for preliminary technical report submittal prior to issuance of <br /> building permits. <br /> If the Water Board determines that an onsite well shall be used as the potable water source, <br /> a permit application to operate Small Public Water System shall be submitted to the EHD <br /> for approval prior to issuance of building permits. To issue a permit to operate, concurrence <br /> from the Water Board is required. A yearly permit to operate a public water system will be <br /> required by the EHD prior to sign off of the certificate of final occupancy (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9.). <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to <br /> assure delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9 and C.C.R., Title 22, <br /> and Health and Safety Code, Section 116525 116570. <br /> 6. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and <br /> discharged to an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health Department. <br /> A registered engineer must design this system. The material collected in the above ground <br /> holding system must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test <br /> requirements may be obtained from the Environmental Health Department. The fee will be <br /> based on the current schedule at the time of payment. <br /> 7. Submit two (2) hardcopy sets, or one (1) electronic version, of food facility plans to the <br /> Environmental Health Department for review and approval prior to issuance of building <br /> permit(s) (California Retail Food Code, Article 1, 114380). The fee will be based on the <br /> current schedule at the time of payment. <br /> 8. Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The <br /> Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br /> 9. Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite, the owner/operator <br /> must report the use or storage of these hazardous materials to the California Environmental <br />
