S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> C o u N T AMENDED <br /> 10/29/2020 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> BATH & BODY WORKS#1510 14950 PACIFIC AVE, STOCKTON October 28, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 106 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained, based on the following observations and violations: <br /> 1. See violations 102,403, and 605. <br /> 2. The Bath&Body Works Hazardous Waste Training Guide, observed next to the hazardous waste storage area, <br /> suggests that State-Regulated&Toxic hazardous waste and Aerosol &Flammable hazardous waste is to be stored <br /> in separate containers. However, two 30-or 55-gallon black poly drums were each storing State-Regulated &Toxic <br /> hazardous waste,such as damaged scented candles, lotions, liquid hand and body soaps, and liquid home <br /> fragrance refills, and Aerosol& Flammable hazardous waste, such as liquid car fragrance refills,fragrance mists <br /> and colognes, anti-bacterial hand sanitizer gels and sprays, and aerosol body sprays,together in both drums. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately re-train the employees.
