TIMKED?
THE TIMKEN COMPANY
^_3032 PocHiele eC,d Suite 110
Lala Forast,':A U S A 92830-28 i
'IJ145r_ 3t
11 J i j 55-Cr;10
Wednesday January. 04. 1995
Rick Pittman
Op. Mgr.
Motion Industries, Inc.
1030 E. Victor Rd.
PO Box 727 (95241)
Lodi, CA. 95240-0723
SUBJECT: Molybdenum content of The Timken Company's bearing part number 32210
Dear Rick.-
In
ick:In reply to your request, I have been advised that 32210 is made with SAE Grade 8019 steel. The
molybdenum content is within the range of 0.08% to 0.18% maximum. It should be noted that according to
our technical staff, molybdenum content in that small of an amount, would be considered"very difficult to
detect in a standard analysis. Molybdenum detected in any quantity is probably from the molybdenum
lubrication and not from the bearing steel composition.
If I can be of further assistance in this matter please contact me at you convenience.
Sincerely,
Ken Wilke
Sales Representative
Aftermarket Distribution/Bearings
