February 27, 2004
David Vaccarezza
P.O. Box 2696
Lodi, CA 95241-2696
Re: LEA Facility File Number 39 -AA -0017
Dear Mr. Vaccarezza:
C!
Central Valley Waste Services, Inc.
A WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY
1333 E. Turner Road
P.O_ Box 241001
Lodi, California 95241-9501
(209) 369-8274
(209) 369-6894 Fax
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
We have reviewed and analyzed the current inspection report conducted on
February 27, 2004. Due to the extremely strong winds this past week, we had problems
controlling litter in and around Central Valley Waste. Further, we had a large door on the
MRF come off track due to the wind causing further problems. The fence project is
almost complete. The contractor has been unable to complete work on the electric gates
due to inclement weather. We expect the gates to be operational by the end of next week.
With your permission, we will assemble a cleanup team to clean the litter in your
trees. We will use a man lift and pull as much litter out as possible without entering your
property. We are very concerned about this problem and will continue to be until the
matter is solved.
We are open to any other suggesti s y u y have to bring this matter to rest.
Patrick Fenton
District Hager
cc: a Mr. Robert McClellon
