EXTERNAL EMAIL
Hello Eddie,
I closed out # 103 . For # 121 could you provide a statement addressing these two parts of the violation :
-The facility did not provide the operating log required by HSC 25250 . 19 ( c ) and HSC 25250 . 18 ( a ) for the past three
years . Generators of highly controlled used oil are not exempt from this requirement .
-The facility provided purity standard test results for a 10 -31 - 19 sample of highly controlled used oil but the PCB test
result had a method detection limit ( MDL) of 10 mg/ kg which is greater than the regulatory limit of 2 mg/ kg . The
detection limit must be below the regulatory limit . Required by HSC 25250 . 1 ( a ) ( 3 ) ( B ) .
Thanks,
Lydia Baker
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
209 - 616 -3046
Ibaker@slgov. org
From : Phillips, Edward P < Edward .
