r7A ter sample from the onsite well indicates a nitrate-nitrogen concentration at 15.5 mg/L; 1.5x over
CL. Given the large amount of surrounding agricultural production and subsequent nitrogen
fertilizer use, this concentration would be expected to be higher. A new, deeper well is proposed to
be installed for the new residence.
In rural areas, it is recommended that bottled water be consumed for drinking and cooking purposes.
LIMITATIONS
The findings, opinions, calculations and conclusions of this report are based upon information from
standard engineering and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific literature and agency
consultations. Information used in these studies is deemed reliable by the sources from where it was
obtained.
This report is based upon current scientific knowledge to assess factors which are extremely variable
and complex within the environment. Although there are several methods to predict environmental
impact from a septic system, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department Onsite
Wastewater Treatment System Standards and requirements have been employed for these purposes,
and for this project. Therefore, no guarantee or warranty is expressed or implied concerning any
aspect of this report and investigation, or for the prevention of environmental impact. This report is
not to be used, in whole or in part, by any private or public entity for any subsequent studies or
reporting on the subject or surrounding properties without the expressed written consent of the author
of this Study.
If there should be any questions regarding to the information contained within this report, please
contact the undersigned.
NLS§ 5.1
Qtofessio
Respectfully submitted, o°D. hesa
CHESNEY CONSULTING q
a No.7.s479 C
`Pr Civil •a
fe of Calitov
Don Chesney, PE
Registered Civil Eng' eer#C75479
Page -7-
Chesney Consulting
