We still need the
permit fee and the letter to the planning department to complete the Enforcement Agency Notification portion of the
Notice and Order. We will most likely come out Wednesday the 23rd in the morning to do the site inspection.
The corrective actions in the Notice and Order were:
1. Remove all compostable material from the property by May 20, 2018.
2. Provide evidence of sampling pursuant to Title 14 CCR section 17868.2 and Title 14 CCR section
17868.3(b)(1) for all material that will be removed for land application.
3. Submit disposal receipts for all material that is removed for disposal.
4. Submit logs documenting date, load amount, and destination for all material removed from the site.
5. Either remove all compost and feedstock from the facility, or reduce quantity of compost and feedstock
to below 12500 cubic yards and submit an Enforcement Agency Notification to EHD.
6. Submit all documentation required above to: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department,
1868 E. Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, CA 95205-6232.
Regarding number 1, since you are doing the EA Notification you do not have to remove all of the material from
the property. The material does need to be below 12500 cubic yards and EA Notification must be complete.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Weare not open on the 20''and I will not be here on the 21St
Thank you,
Harprit S. Mattu
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
i
