Mike Infurna [EH]

From: Lawrence Kleinecke [LKleinecke@Versarcorn]
Sent: Monday, April 30, 2007 7:55 AM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: devra.lewis@us.army.mil; scott.hilyard@us.army.mil
Subject: Re: Permit for National Guard Stockton
VL °
Thanks for your help with this permit. We are currently scheduled to perform the drilling
on May 10. I will call to confirm.
Larry Kleinecke, PMP, REA II
Senior Project Manager
Versar, Inc.
7844 Madison Ave., Suite 167
Fair Oaks, CA 95628
LKleinecke@versar.com
916 863-9326 (direct line)
916 962-2678 (fax)
916 802-1329 (cell)
>» "Mike Infurna [EH]" <MInfurna@sjcehd.com> 04/27/07 12:00PM >»
Attached please find a copy of the boring permit issued by SJCEHD for borings "BAC1, 2, &
3" and "CSB1 and CSB2" under VERSAR's work plan, dated April 2007.
SJCEHD has issued just one permit to this large 41 acre parcel, even though at least four
addresses are associated with this phase.
Historically, each of these four addresses had its own parcel number and SJCEHD policy
requires each parcel to have its own permit But recent chances have modified these
parcels and now only ONE large parcel is on the SJ County Assessor map. This parcel (AP#
17726004) now also reflects a new address, "6000 S. Airport Way".
Since it is only one parcel, I have issued only one permit.
As I understand it, approximately one half of the area of AAFS (east
half) is not mapped/recorded as within Guard property-ownership but is 'leased' by the
Guard and is INSIDE the Guard's fencing. Boring "BAC3"
is shown to be OUTSIDE of the Guard property limits on SJ County property (AP4417726026).
Since this small area of County property is within the fence line of the Guard and under
control of the Guard, I have allowed it to be included on the permit for the Guard
property.
Work for the week of May 7 is ok with me. Call me at (209) 468-3454 to confirm start date
please.
In the future, if drilling is to be as wide spread as this phase is, please ensure that
ONE map is sent to SJCEHD that shows ALL boring locations. A map must be placed on the
back of the permit for scanning/document storage purposes. "BAC3" is NOT shown on the map
for this permit since NO map showing all the borings was provided.
Thank you.
Original Message
From: Lawrence Kleinecke [mailto:LKleinecke@Versar.com]
Sent: Friday, April 27, 2007 8:43 AM
To: Linda.baustian@afrpa.pentagon.af.mil; scott.hilyard@us.army.mil
Cc: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: Permit for National Guard Stockton
As a follow up to my email yesterday, Mike has worked out the details with the permit and
is ready to issue it. We are currently scheduled for a site walk on May 3, and will
schedule the drilling for the following week if possible.
Larry Kleinecke, PMP, REA II
Senior Project Manager
1
