Tretheway Road, Lockeford
APN 051-150-07, SR0082823
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate
Loading (SSNL) Study, dated October 23, 2020 and submitted on November 3, 2020 for the above noted
location, and has the following comments for your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment
system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater for the following proposed
project.
1. A two-bedroom modular home.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for future development on the proposed parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin
County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas
shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in San Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well
Standard.
2. The existing private water well shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) with
the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building permit(s).
Samples are to be taken by a third party and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin
County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7).
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3018.
Muniappa Naidu, REHS
Assistant Director
c: AdvancedGeo
1868 E.
