Proposed Datta Yoga Center, USA at 13347 W Middle Rd,Tracy, CA 95304 Assessor's Parcel Number(APN): 212-030-19 Project Overview— The proposed project is to request Use Permit to allow a place of prayer, meditation and cultural& community service assembly under the name of Datta Yoga Center(DYC)to erect two new buildings under two phases— Phase 1: • This property is 38.66 acres agricultural land situated at the corner of S Lammers Rd and W Middle Rd of Tracy. This also has 1104 square foot single family home which has 2 bedrooms and 1.0 bathroom. This home is located at 13347 W Middle Rd,Tracy, CA 95304. • Along the side of current 1104 sq ft house,there will be a 3,000 sq ft assembly hall to accommodate no more than 90 visitors with 25 parking slots plus 2 ADA parking lots close to these buildings • Current car garage will be renovated and used as a warehouse Phase 2: • Approximately 12,000 Square Foot(SF)main prayer/meditation assembly hall, • In addition, a separate small 50'X60'(3,000 sq ft)priest quarters residence with a pool will be constructed to be used by our Spiritual master and assistants. • Addition of 100 new parking slots(plus 5 ADA parking slots)will added next to 12,000 sq ft assembly hall in addition to the existing parking slots that are part of Phase 1. • The proposed buildings will be pre-engineered steel structures which only require a 6'to 8'slab for a foundation that does not require any extensive excavations like regular foundations.All new buildings will be constructed on an elevated 3 to 5 ft raised ground in order to protect them from flood hazards. • These structures will have a minimal natural and environmental impact.We are also planning to have some eco-friendly facilities such as Aromatic plant gardens which will be used towards the meditation and healing purposes etc. Highlights of this project—this facility will offer the following important services to the local public at large(Mountain House,Tracy etc.). Most importantly this property is located opposite to the south winds church location which is great location for offering below religious services to the Indian and Asian communities. • Meditation & Prayer Services— o Our meditation services are accessible to nearby communities and open for all religions/groups without any discrimination. o Our graver/religious services are available during all days(at fixed timings)and the weekends(full day from morning to evening)and are accessible to the public at no cost and people from local communities. • Social and Community Services— o Blanket Drive Program-blankets will be distributed for people in need especially during the cold winter months o Second Harvest Food Bank—our volunteers help and support food banks in Santa 113Pages
