A 55 gallon plastic drum of unknown liquid was found on site in the car wash chemical storage area that has not been reported. Any material that meets or exceeds the reportable quantity shall be reported in the facility's business plan. Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, add the materials to the hazardous material inventory, and submit to the EHD for approval. This is a Class II violation. 6 HSC 25505(a)(2) Failed to electronically submit a site map with all required content. A site map was not completed or submitted as part of the business plan. -2 access/exit points were indicated on the car wash chemical storage area but only one access/exit point was observed. - 1 fire extinguisher was found near the carbon dioxide storage area that was not noted on the map. -Loading areas were not indicated on the map - Internal roads were not indicated on the map -3 storm drains on the East side of the facility were not noted on the map A site map shall contain a north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent streets, storm and sewer drains, access and exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous material handling and storage areas, and emergency response equipment. If a site map element is not applicable for your facility then list it on the map and label as"NA". Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. This is a Class II violation. Overall Inspection Comments: Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, by 12/19/2020. To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of having them sign.
