A map of local parking <br /> garages is included for your reference on the reverse of this notice. <br /> Prior to your hearing it is required to have the following: <br /> ✓ A complete application. (Our office has your application on file and any <br /> documents that you may have submitted in addition to the application.) <br /> ✓ Seven copies of any additional documents that you would like the Board to <br /> consider as evidence. Please maintain a copy for yourself. The seven copies will <br /> be distributed to the Assessment Appeals Board, the Assessor, and the Clerk of <br /> the Board. If you do not have seven copies, the Clerk of the Board will make <br /> copies for you at the cost $.10 per copy. You may proceed with your hearing <br /> without these copies, however, the Board will only look at your documents during <br /> the hearing and your documents will not be made part of the Board's record of <br /> your hearing. <br /> Please review the evidence that will not be considered by the Board. <br /> o Comparable Sales that are too recent—Sales dates of comparable sales <br /> that are 90 days after the lien date of January 151 will not be considered by <br /> the Board. Your evidence of Comparable Sales must show that the <br /> comparable property was sold within 90 days after the tax lien date. There <br /> is no time restriction on comparable sales prior to the lien date. <br /> For example, for the tax year 2008-2009, your lien date is <br /> January 1, 2008. A comparable sales date that is after <br /> April 1, 2008 will not be considered by the Board. <br /> o Listings —Property that is listed for sale will not be considered by the <br /> Board as evidence of comparable value. <br /> Rev 2/11 <br />
