The development project includes an existing 5-bedroom dwelling, a detached man and woman
restroom, and a proposed 4,183 square foot (SF) dormitory, two 400 SF storage containers, and tree
temporary tents totaling 4,183 SF on a 4.60 acres parcel.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for future development on the proposed parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin
County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
2. The water sample data show the well being utilized for drinking water has an elevated level of nitrate
nitrogen of 27.0 mg/L-N and may not be a suitable source for the potable water supply for new
development. A potable water supply that can provide a consistent source of safe and clean water
adequate for human consumption, cooking, and sanitary purposes for the proposed project prior to
the issuance of building permits (2016 CA Plumbing Code, Section 601.2).
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3018.
O" _
Muniappa Naidu, REHS
Assistant Director
c: Terracon Consultants, Inc.
1868 E.
