In <br />addition to receiving community input the MAC held a virtual public meeting on December 12, 2020 attended by <br />county representatives. Many questions and/or concerns were highlighted but still not answered. <br />Our first concern is related t0 not the project detail; per se, but the limited notification to the surrounding <br />community. This woultl be the first cannabis business In the unincorporated county and is known to be <br />controversial regarding benefit/positive VS.dall/negative impact. This would forever change the Cannabis <br />industry in all of unincorporated San Joaquin County. Since the project Would be only 1 mile from our urban <br />town of several thousand residents, we respectfully request Community Development Department expand the <br />required application of the few hundred Net to endure property owners in Me %Z37 tip close and Me deadline <br />for pudic comment be Berntled. The loot property owners have a neat to be Informed of this major <br />development <br />As far as endro mental factors potenNalFy affecong the project, please note our concerns and/or questions by <br />subject as nodded In your Initial study, environmental reports and other Supporting documents_ <br />Aesthetics. Excessive lighting; Since Me 12 greenhouse structures and parts will have translucent material over <br />6 feet and culdvatlon is 2617, IC does not seem possible how light will not spill Over. The number, type and Hi <br />of security lighting are also not clear. Although there are not Ab aci residential lots, there are nearby <br />residents who could be significantly impacted by 2A/2lighting. <br />Ate_ Odor: The proposed -Fal Odor formal- system for toe greenhouse cultivation would "expel an <br />.meal oil based mixture that neutralizes odor and issuspended and carried in Me mrnaw". This sounds like <br />large scale canmert lair Freshener; encapsulating molecules. Does It run Continuously? How facts the <br />expellant arned away? What are the ingredients of this nil mixture? Another issue of air qualify to consider is <br />
