In addition to receiving community input the MAC held a virtual public meeting on December 12, 2020 attended by county representatives. Many questions and/or concerns were highlighted but still not answered. Our first concern is related t0 not the project detail; per se, but the limited notification to the surrounding community. This woultl be the first cannabis business In the unincorporated county and is known to be controversial regarding benefit/positive VS.dall/negative impact. This would forever change the Cannabis industry in all of unincorporated San Joaquin County. Since the project Would be only 1 mile from our urban town of several thousand residents, we respectfully request Community Development Department expand the required application of the few hundred Net to endure property owners in Me %Z37 tip close and Me deadline for pudic comment be Berntled.
