Box 319 <br /> Lodi, CA 95241 <br /> Re: San Joaquin County Solid Waste Independent Hearing Panel <br /> Welcome to this meeting of the San Joaquin County Solid Waste Independent Hearing <br /> Panel (SWIHP). The Environmental Health Division will serve as staff to the SWIHP. <br /> The first meeting of the SWIHP is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8, 1992, 7:00 <br /> p.m. at the Public Health Services Building, 1601 E. Hazelton Avenue, Stockton. We <br /> will send you the formal notice of the meeting when it is printed. <br /> On September 24, 1992 a public hearing was held by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services Solid Waste Hearing Panel. There were ten sites seeking exemptions <br /> from a state solid waste facility permit. Nine sites were exempted and one site was <br /> denied an exemption. <br /> The SWIHP is the appeal board for the Public Health Services Solid Waste Hearing <br /> Panel. Two sites that were granted "exemptions" are being appealed by nearby <br /> residents. These sites are: <br /> 1 Manteca Wastewater Treatment <br /> Plant - (Sludge Soil Spreading) <br /> 2450 W. Yosemite Avenue, Manteca <br /> 2. F St W Cattle Co. #1 <br /> (Cannery Waste Soil Spreading) <br /> 19015 S. McKinley Avenue <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> We are preparing a staff report for the Hearing Panel and we shall send it to you in <br /> approximately two weeks.
