This projecF consists of a Sita Approval application to <br /> establish a combination gas station to include a convenience store and afast-food restaurant(Use Types: Gasoline— <br /> Combination). The project includes construction of a 4,'100-squarafoot afofa/restaurant building and a 3,230-square-foot <br /> canopy for 6 gas tlispansars.Tha store and fast-food restaurant will operate 7 days a weak,from 6:00 a.m. to '1'1:00 p.m. <br /> Tha gas dispensers will operate 24 hours a day,with cradiS card use only after hours.Tha site will utilize a private on-site <br /> septic system.Water and storm water drainage will ba provided by San Joaquin County Service Area 12. Tha pfojact will <br /> have ingress/agrees driveways off of both N.TM1ornton Roatl and W. Thornton Road with an additional exit only driveway <br /> on W. Thornton Road. The project site is on the northeast corner of Thornton Rd. antl Walnut Grove Rd..Thornton. <br /> (APN/Address: 00'1-200-84/26440 N.Thornton Rd., Thornton). <br /> San Joaquin County is a signatory to San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open Spaces Plan <br /> (3JMSCP). Participation in the 3JMSCP satisfies fequiremants of both the state antl federal endangered species acts, <br /> and ensures that the imparts era mitigated below a level of significance in compliance witM1 the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act (CEQA). The LOCAL JURISDICTION retains responsibility for ensuring that the appropriate Incidental Take <br /> Minimization Measure are properly Implamen[ed and monitored antl that appropriate fees are paid in compliance with [he <br /> 3JMSCP. Although participation in the 3JMSCP is voluntary, Local Jurisdiction/Leatl Agencies should ba aware that if <br /> project applicants choose against participating in the 3JMSCP, [hey will ba required[o provide alternative mitigation in an <br /> amount antl kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. <br /> Th/s Protect/s subJact to the SJMSCP.
