Schulte Road Logistics Center 7-9 <br />7.4 Environmentally Superior Alternative <br />Section 15126(e)(2) of the CEQA Guidelines requires an EIR to identify an “environmentally superior <br />alternative.” If the No Project/No Development Alternative is the environmentally superior alternative, which <br />is the case in this analysis, the EIR must als o identify an environmentally superior alternative from among the <br />other Project alternatives. <br />Table 7-1 provides a comparison of the Project with the Project alternatives based on the environmental topic areas <br />addressed in Chapter 4, Environmental Impact Analysis, of this Draft EIR. As shown in Table 7-1, Alternative 3 is <br />considered the environmentally superior alternative. Table 7-2 presents how the Project and each of the Project <br />alternatives compare in terms of meeting the Project objectives. <br />Table 7-1.
