Ahern Rd , Tracy <br /> The following requirements have been identified as pertinent to this project . Other requirements may also <br /> apply . These requirements cannot be modified . <br /> 1 . A soil suitability and nitrate loading study addendum incorporating proposed staff and customer use <br /> shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) , indicating that the area is suitable <br /> for septic system usage . The studies must be approved by the EHD prior to issuance of building <br /> permit (s ) . ( San Joaquin County Development Title , Section 9- 1105 . 2 (d ) ) . The fee will be based on <br /> the current schedule at the time of payment . <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the onsite wastewater treatment systems standards <br /> of San Joaquin County prior to approval . A percolation test conducted in accordance with the E . P . A . <br /> Design Manual - Onsite Wastewater and Disposal Systems is required for each parcel . The fee will <br /> be based on the current schedule at the time of payment . <br /> 2 . Applicant shall contact Robert McClellon , Program Coordinator, Small Public Water System <br /> Program , at (209 ) 468-0332 , to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public water <br /> system prior to issuance of building permits . If a public water system is required , applicant shall <br /> submit a Small Public Water System preliminary technical report to the California State Water <br /> Resources Control Board , Division of Drinking Water (Water Board ) at least six months before <br /> initiating construction of any water related improvement , as defined . The issuance of a permit to <br /> operate a small public water system by the local primacy agency ( EHD ) is prohibited without the <br /> concurrence of the Water Board . E . with the SWRCB Division of <br /> Drinking Water at (209) : 94 &3963 concerning the requirements for preliminary technical report <br /> submittal prior to issuance of building permits . <br /> If the Water Board determines that an onsite well shall be used as the potable water source , a permit <br /> application to operate Small Public Water System shall be submitted to the EHD for approval prior <br /> to issuance of building permits . To issue a permit to operate , concurrence from the Water Board is <br /> required . A yearly permit to operate a public water system will be required by the EHD prior to sign <br /> off of the certificate of final occupancy ( San Joaquin County Development Title , Section 9 - 1120 . 2 <br /> and 9 - 1115 . 9 . ) . <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial , managerial , and technical capability to assure <br /> delivery of pure , wholesome , and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title , Sections 9- 1120 . 2 and 9. 1115 . 9 and C .
