MONITORING AND REPORTING ijROGRAM NO.5-00-142 -2- <br /> CITY OF ESCALON <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> samples shall be collected from the flow prior to addition of any WWTP recycled flow. Effluent <br /> samples shall be collected prior to discharge into the evaporation/percolation pond with the exception <br /> of effluent samples collected for BOD analysis. Discrete effluent BOD samples shall be collected from <br /> all the evaporation/percolation ponds that contain wastewater. The discrete effluent BOD samples <br /> shall be collected at a point as far as practicable from the pond inlet and within one foot of the water <br /> surface. Freeboard and dissolved oxygen monitoring shall be performed at all treatment and <br /> evaporation/percolation ponds. Freeboard will be measured vertically from the surface of the pond <br /> water to the lowest elevation of the surrounding berm.- Dissolved oxygen shall be measured at a point <br /> as far as practicable from the pond inlet and within one foot of the water surface. Industrial wastewater <br /> monitoring shall be performed in all months when industrial wastewater is being received or treated at <br /> the plant.
