11.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> (in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120(b)(4)(ii)(H) and 29 CFR 1910.120(l) <br /> This is the site-specific emergency response plan. This chapter of the HASP describes <br /> potential emergencies at this site, procedures for responding to those emergencies, <br /> roles and responsibilities during emergency response, and training that workers must <br /> receive in order to follow emergency procedures. This chapter also describes the <br /> provisions this site has made to coordinate its emergency response planning with other <br /> contractors on site and with off-site emergency response organizations. <br /> This emergency response plan is consistent with the requirements of paragraph (1) of <br /> HAZWOPER and provides the following site-specific information: <br /> • pre-emergency planning <br /> • on-site emergency response equipment and PPE <br /> • emergency maps: evacuation routes and route to nearest hospital <br /> • emergency roles and responsibilities <br /> • emergency alerting and evacuation procedures <br /> • emergency response procedures <br /> • emergency decontamination, medical treatment and first aid <br /> • response critique and plan updates <br /> • emergency response training <br /> During the development of this emergency response plan, local, state, and federal <br /> agency disaster, fire, and emergency response organizations were consulted to ensure <br /> that this plan is compatible and integrated with the plans of those organizations. <br /> Documentation of the dates of these consultations and the names of individuals <br /> contacted is kept (insert location) <br /> 11.1 Pre-emergency Planning <br /> This site has been evaluated for potential emergency occurrences, based on site <br /> hazards, the tasks within the work plan, the building layout, and the ventilation system <br /> design and operation.
