Jennifer Frase [EH]
From: Jennifer Frase [EH]
Sent: Monday, May 19, 2008 2:12 PM
To: 'christinezador@yahoo.com'
Subject: Tires
Hi Christine,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I haven't been contacted by the state regarding the re-use
of the tires. So my boss, Robert, has decided against you using the tires as a backdrop at the silhouette
range. Reason for this is because the amount of time the tires have been on site and in contigous years
of violation. They are considered solid waste and they need to be properly disposed of. I have tried my
best to find a cheaper way to dispose of them, but my efforts have been fruitless. I have given you
some contact names for tire haulers. Make sure to call around for the best prices. Robert has also
advised me that with the price of gas and such, taking them to a disposal facility in a bunch of trips on
a one day exemption wouldn't be worth your time and effort. The tires will need to be manifested by
the hauler.
I do appreciate your effort and cooperation. Let me know how you are progressing and if you have
questions. Sorry I have taken so long to respond.
Jenni Frase, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202
(209) 468-9966
5/19/2008
