Follow the <br /> directions on the label for how to fold so that it is visible when placed in the sleeve. <br /> Depending on the layout of the backroom and the store's hazardous waste section, the containers may <br /> be placed side-by-side or one on top of the other. Ensure container labels are faced outward and are <br /> visible. <br /> NOTE: Stores can print off multiple copies of each label to keep in the Hazardous Waste Binder for <br /> easy replacement after pickup <br /> L= Recycling <br /> Both lithium and alkaline batteries must be placed in the battery container. No other hazardous waste <br /> items are to be placed in this container except for batteries. If a damaged item, such as an electric <br /> toothbrush, contains a battery, take the battery out of the item.
