SAN 10AR I N <br />Y <br />Environmental Health Department <br />AMENDED <br />1/6/2021 <br />Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />Date: <br />TRACY CDJR <br />3460 NAGLEE RD, TRACY <br />December 07, 2020 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />301 <br />CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following was observed in the hazardous waste storage area: <br />-Soiled absorbent pads and absorbent granules observed between and behind one 240 gallon waste antifreeze tank <br />and one 100 gallon product oil tank. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non -sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean stains. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br />Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66265.173 Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed in hazardous waste <br />storage area: <br />-One 55 -gallon container with used paper oil filters observed with open lid. <br />The following were observed adjacent to hazardous waste storage area by office. <br />-One 55 -gallon container with used absorbent observed with non -secure lid. <br />-One 5 -gallon bucket with brake lathe shavings observed with no lid. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br />when not adding or removing waste.
