The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Elkhorn Golf Club as of February 05, 2021. <br /> Open violations from May 31, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> The following containers were observed in the hazardous waste storage area without accumulation start dates: <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil <br /> -Two one gallon drain pans containing used oil <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing unpunctured/uncrushed oil filters <br /> In the shop area, one red 16 gallon movable drain pan containing used oil did not have an accumulation start date. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Since it cannot be determined how long the <br /> hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste <br /> under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#605-Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> In the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the physical <br /> property, hazardous property, accumulation start date, contents, and the name and address of the generator. <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil filters was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the <br /> physical property, hazardous property, accumulation start date, contents, and the name and address of the <br /> generator. <br /> -Two 1 gallon drain pans containing used oil were missing hazardous waste labels. <br /> In the shop area, one red 16 gallon movable drain pan containing used oil did not have a hazardous waste label. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
