VIOLATION 203—filter waste disposal: See response to Violation 201. Photo of filter waste storage is attached. VIOLATION 204—non-hazardous wastewater: See response to Violation 102. Quest verified the paint wastewater is non-hazardous through recent characterization. Wastewater currently stored on site will be transported and disposed of by Clean Harbors at a facility permitted to treat the wastewater. Disposal documentation will be provided when available. Quest is evaluating options for future disposition of the non-hazardous wastewater, including on site evaporation. VIOLATION 303-eyewash: Disposition will be documented and provided to the County. VIOLATION 601—hazardous waste storage: Disposal records will be provided to the County upon receipt. VIOLATION 708—universal waste onsite greater than one year: Update forthcoming before the end of April. SOIL CLEANUP: Quest is reviewing the options available to remove waste from the soil areas identified in the County's inspection. Quest intends to have a work plan prepared to address investigation of the extent of the waste material on and in the soil, removal of the waste material, and post removal sampling to confirm the completion of cleanup efforts. Quest expects to have a work plan ready this month for review and comment.The County is invited to meet with Quest to address comments or concerns about the cleanup process. Quest remains committed to complete the cleanup by July 1, 2021. We will provide you documentation as it becomes available and as corrections are completed.
