The containers <br /> were: <br /> 1. One hazardous waste container that was storing over the counter medicines was labeled as"Poison Waste Only" <br /> and as Corrosive Bases Hazardous Waste, and was missing the physical state on the label. Sean was unable to <br /> obtain a Toxic&State Regulated Hazardous Waste label to replace the Corrosive Bases Hazardous Waste label at <br /> the time of inspection. <br /> 2. Three Toxic&State Regulated Hazardous Waste containers, storing over the counter medicines and light bulbs, <br /> were missing the physical state on the labels. Sean Burgess, Operations Team Leader, marked the physical state <br /> on the labels at the time of inspection. <br /> 3. One Ignitable Hazardous Waste container, storing aerosol sunscreen and flammable liquids and solids,was <br /> missing the physical state on the label. Sean marked the physical state on the label at the time of inspection. <br /> 4. One Corrosive Acid Hazardous Waste container, storing a liquid bathroom cleaner,was missing the physical <br /> state on the label. Sean marked the physical state on the label at the time of inspection. <br /> 5. The Toxic Rx P-Listed, Rx Ignitable/Toxic, and the Rx DEA Controlled Substances Hazardous Waste container <br /> labels, located in the pharmacy,were missing the physical state and contents. Gagandeep Gill, Pharmacy Manager, <br /> marked the physical state and contents on the labels at the time of inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Notes: <br /> -The inspection began on 10/20/2020 and was completed on 10/21/2020, due to time constraints. <br /> -The inspection report was amended on 1/14/2021 by amending violation 106. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 2/13/2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
