The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for TELLEZ AUTO BODY as of January21, 2021. Open violations from October 02, 2020 inspection Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. OBSERVATIOf�t This business does not have a hazardous waste ID number in the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) database. REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Identification (ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per month, less than one kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID numbers are unique to a business and site location. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ to obtain an ID number . Immediately apply for your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ Supporting documents included ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation #117 -Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. OBSERVATIOt�t This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 9/26/2019 within 30 days. The report was delivered to the business on 10/10/2019. REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days.
