The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for TELLEZ AUTO BODY as of January21, 2021. <br />Open violations from October 02, 2020 inspection <br />Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br />OBSERVATIOf�t This business does not have a hazardous waste ID number in the California Department of Toxic <br />Substances Control (DTSC) database. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br />transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Identification <br />(ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br />month, less than one kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br />numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br />to obtain an ID number . Immediately apply for your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />❑ This violation was corrected <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #117 -Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br />OBSERVATIOt�t This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 9/26/2019 within 30 <br />days. The report was delivered to the business on 10/10/2019. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br />written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br />subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br />department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting <br />corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br />purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation.
