Haulers who remove hazardous materials from the <br />Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill as requested under the <br />load checking program shall deliver to the City of <br />Tracy Public Works Department proof (proper documents <br />and/or manifest) within ten (10) days that subject <br />materials were disposed of properly. <br />* If prohibited wastes are delivered to the site and <br />the responsible delivering party cannot or will not <br />safely remove the waste, the City of Tracy will then <br />contract with a hazardous waste hauler for removal <br />and ultimate legal disposal. The responsible party <br />will be billed for these associated costs. <br />Further information regarding proper disposal of the <br />prohibited wastes listed above is available from the <br />San Joaquin Local Health District by telephone at <br />(209) 466-6781. <br />An example of the notification is shown as Exhibit 4. <br />-13- <br />
