WATER QUALITY OBJECTIVES FOR GROUND WATERS <br /> The following objectives apply to all ground waters of the sub-basins. <br /> 1. BACTERIA <br /> In ground waters used for domestic or municipal supply(MUN) the most probable number of <br /> coliform organisms over any seven-day period shall be less than 2.2/100 ml. <br /> 2. CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS <br /> Ground waters shall not contain chemical constituents in concentrations that adversely affect <br /> beneficial uses. <br /> Ground waters designated for use as domestic or municipal supply (MUN) shall not contain <br /> concentrations of chemical constituents in excess of the maximum contaminant levels specified in <br /> California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4,Chapter 15,Article 4 (Section 64431 et <br /> seq.). <br /> Ground waters designated for use as agricultural supply (AGR) shall not contain concentrations <br /> of chemical constituents in amounts that adversely affect such beneficial use. <br /> 3. RADIOACTIVITY <br /> Ground waters designated for use as domestic or municipal supply(MUN) shall not contain <br /> concentrations of radionuclides in excess of the maximum contaminant levels specified in <br /> California Code of Regulations,Title 22, Division 4,Chapter 15,Article 5 (Section 64441 et <br /> seq.). <br /> 4.
