The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for R &A Auto Dismantling as of January 27, 2021. Open violations from September 16, 2020 inspection Violation#110-Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years during the inspection. REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years September 16, 2017- September 16, 2020 for all hazardous waste including used oil, used antifreeze,waste diesel fuel, oily absorbent material. OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years during the inspection. -Observed one consolidated manifest for the collection of 300 gallons used oil by Asbury Environmental Services, Inc on 5/7/20. REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years September 16, 2017- September 16, 2020 for all hazardous waste including used oil. used antifreeze, oily absorbent material,waste diesel fuel.
