The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for R &A Auto Dismantling as of January 27, 2021. <br /> Open violations from September 16, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation#110-Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years September 16, 2017- <br /> September 16, 2020 for all hazardous waste including used oil, used antifreeze,waste diesel fuel, oily absorbent <br /> material. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#113-Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. -Observed one consolidated manifest for the collection of 300 gallons used oil by <br /> Asbury Environmental Services, Inc on 5/7/20. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years September 16, 2017- <br /> September 16, 2020 for all hazardous waste including used oil. used antifreeze, oily absorbent material,waste <br /> diesel fuel.
