SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
`yCOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Mill
1810 E.HAZELTON AVE.,STOCKTON,CA 85205-6232
PHONE:209/468-3121 FAX;2091488.3163
July 6, 2012
MEMORANDUM
TO: Robert McClellan
FROM: Kerry Sullivan, Director
SUBJECT: PA-1200011
Site Approval PA-1200011 for the expansion of an existing composting facility to include urban
green waste was approved by the Planning Commission on March 5, 2012. The project is
limited to 20 acres in size. The applicants stated in their project description that the project will
produce 500 tons per day and up to 182,500 tons per year of urban green waste. No traffic
study was required by the Department of Public Works because truck trips per peak hour were
well below the minimum required to trigger a traffic study. Therefore, there is no condition of
approval that restricts the number of truck trips per day.
